About / Resume
Cody Hadley
Go-to technical person and systems administrator. Linux preferred.
Summary
About seventeen years in IT, hands-on. I work as the go-to technical person and a systems administrator, preferably on Linux.
Windows is not the system I want on the desk. Cyan1de runs Archcraft, on an Arch base. I would love to be a Linux sysadmin for laptops and servers.
I believe in writing things down. One-page project plans. Clear written briefs.
Skills
- Linux, daily on Archcraft (Arch-based)
- Proxmox, on a repurposed HP Z440
- Tailscale mesh VPN across the machines
- NAS builds, NVMe, and storage hardware
- 3D printing with OrcaSlicer and Bambu Studio
- AI tools, tried widely to learn how they differ
Experience
Training and leadership
- Dale Carnegie training and certification.
- Paradigm Shift leadership training.
- Years of running AV operations and building schedules.
- Helping with youth groups.
Off the clock
SNES and the arcade
SNES emulation with bsnes and Snes9x. I love Western arcade run-and-guns. Sunset Riders is the one I come back to.
